A longtime foodie who’s been obsessively perfecting her meal planning system since as far back as 2002, Shannan Palma rarely has only one project going and thrives on giving her curiosity free rein. She’s an award-winning PhD, as well as a film school drop out; a writer, public speaker, and communications professional, as well as a curmudgeonly introvert. She lives by a quote from Lois McMaster Bujold’s Miles Vorkosigan series: “I have a better idea. Wish to be yourself. To the hilt. Find out what you’re best at, and develop it. Hopscotch your weaknesses. There isn’t time for them.”
